The NFL has released the schedule for the 2008 season, and with some surprise the Buc’s are scheduled to make three prime-time appearances this coming season. Unlike last season when the Buc’s lone scheduled night game, a week 16 Sunday night game against the 49er’s was “flexed out” by NBC, there is only the chance that the week 16 match-up at home against the Chargers will meet the same fate.

~Home Games in Caps
~Times for all games, excluding Monday night game @ Carolina, are applicable to change at anytime by the NFL ( if solely to make ticket holders confused) and their broadcast partners.
A few random thoughts about the 2008 schedule…..Would someone please explain why in the world the NFL would schedule the Buc’s last two games (both home games ) against teams from not only outside the NFC South, but from completely outside the conference. With the NFL exploring changing how teams are seeded for the playoffs in an attempt to make the final two weeks of games in the season more compelling for season ticket holders and all fans alike; How does playing two teams from the AFC west to close out not only the home schedule but season all together aid that cause. The NFL could have easily switched one of the home dates with Carolina or Atlanta with one of the last two. In another disappointing revelation, After the Sunday night game at home against the Seahawks on Oct. 19th, Buc’s fans will have only one chance to catch the team playing at Ray Jay ( Nov. 16th against Adrian Peterson and the Vikings) until Nov. 30th when they face the Saints in their final Division home game. Three road games and the bye week in a 5 week stretch makes absolutely no sense. Makes one wonder how much the NFL really cares for it’s ticket buying fans
